"co-mirroring" is an online screening of video works by artists from Thailand and the PhilippinesJanuary 11, 2021 [Mon.] － January 25, 2021 [Mon.] Online screening event “co-mirroring" was planned as an associated event for the exhibition "in the era of Asia's Post-LCC" held at Kyoto Art Center, January - February 2020. Concurrently with the end of the exhibition in February 2020, the global pandemic has become more serious, and coincidentally, we have entered into a situation that could be called the "post-LCC era" where international travel is heavily restricted.As a response to this situation, we have decided to make this online screening event in order to hear the voices and situations of others in other Asian countries. We will show 6 video based artworks selected by our partners in Thailand and the Philippines based on the themes of "movement," "distance," and "place" in the time of Covid-19. The event is held on the occasion of the first anniversary of the exhibition "in the era of Asia's Post-LCC".
