Denver Garza and Syo Yoshihama
Load na Dito in collaboration with PostGallery PG in Cubao X will have a special workshop by Cavite based artist Denver Garza and artist talk by Okinawa based artist Syo Yoshihama, who co-founded an independent space, Arts Tropical together with Sayaka Ashidate in Naha. The workshop and talk will explore our perception of a space through body and mind as well as our engagement with a space as an agent for creativity, a site for encounter and dialogue, and questions the politics around production and presentation of art.
Denver Garza (born 1987) is a visual artist with an academic background in psychology. His understanding of intrapsychic processes tends to translate in the physicality and structure of works. His works are interwoven around the process of finding meaning and comfort in uncertainty, allowing play as means to be cognizant of both positive and negative feelings and its transformative nature to create something beyond the restrictions bound by self, and of others.
Syo Yoshihama is a sound artist and improviser based in Okinawa. His work employs sound improvisation as a method to approach different social communities. He received a grant from Pola Art Foundation, Japan to conduct research on experimental methods of improvisation in the arts in London from 2017-18. He graduated with a degree in painting from Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts in 2010.
Load na Dito is a mobile research and artistic project, initiated in 2016 with a vision to generate and archive information, experience and knowledge of contemporary art and culture in Manila, Osaka and beyond. We organize research & discussion groups and practice-based experimental platform in various sizes and forms.

Post – In 2013, Post Gallery took over the original place where Pablo was born- Cubao X, Quezon City. Today, the space serves as an alternative venue for upcoming artists to exhibit their works. Post also features other art, music, and interactive events on a regular basis.
